Sri Vijay Kumar Goyal, a veteran industrialist and visionary with 40 years of experience in leading and managing large business ventures is a B.Com Graduate from Punjab University.

Into the Manufacturing of Guar Gum (1980 – 1990)

Mr Goyal has been born and brought up in a business family and hence with his inherited business acumen started his career by venturing into the business of Guar Gum somewhere in the year 1980 at Hisar, Haryana.  He was the founder director of Indian Guar Gum Private Limited and with his business skills and techniques, the Company in a very short period achieved success with a turnover of INR 10 Crores and its products being directly exported to countries like UK, USA, Mozambique  and Switzerland.  However with his experience and vision, he could smell the raw material pricing challenges and speculations associated with the business and came to Kolkata to diversify into Integrated Stainless Steel and Ferro Alloys.

Venturing into Steel & Ferro Alloys through Shyam Ferro and BRG Group (1990 – 2010)

Mr. Goyal ventured into the business of ferro alloys by partnering with Shyam Ferro Group under the guidance of Sri Mahabir Prasad Agarwal in the year 1990 and has played a key role in setting up of manufacturing facilities in Burdwan and Durgapur.  With his sheer hard work and business skills in a very short span he gained repute in the steel and ferro sector and along with his brothers started his own venture under the name and style of BRG Group somewhere in the late 90’s.  Under his leadership, the parent company BRG Iron & Steel Industry Private Limited has set up manufacturing facilities in the State of West Bengal and Odisha and has gained a turnover of INR 4000 Crores with considerable presence in Eastern India.

Exit from BRG Group and formation of Spring City Group (In the year 2010)

With the BRG group flourishing and so the involvement of his family into the business, Mr. Goyal thought it fit to exit at the peak with the right valuations and handed over the reins to his brother and their family.  With his vast experience and business acumen, he could sense the potential in the real estate sector with the investment in the right places, he started investing in the land banks in and around the city of Kolkata and ventured into real estate under the name and brand of Spring City Group.

Joint Venture with Siddha Group for Siddha Sky Project

With the relations that he has developed across the business houses being a business veteran for more than 30 years, he convinced Siddha Group for a large residential project at a strategically located land at Canal South Road off EM Bypass owned by Spring City Group .  Siddha immediately entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Spring City Group and designed “Siddha Sky” with 468 luxurious residential flats with all modern amenities and facilities.

Venturing into Development of Residential Project “UDYAAT”

Along with gaining experience into development of large residential complex with Siddha Group, Mr. Goyal has now decided to venture into as developer for a large luxurious residential complex at the land adjacent to Siddha Sky.  Accordingly, the group entered into an Agreement with renowned Ambuja Neotia Group as Project Management Consultant for construction of State of Art Building and engaged renowned Padmabhusan Awardee Sri B V Doshi as its Architect for the upcoming project under the name and style “Udyaat”.

Real Estate Partnering in Mumbai

Apart from the above, Mr. Goyal through Spring City Group has invested with Siddha in various real estate projects in Mumbai as financing partner with investment of more than INR 80 Crores.
